This occlusive dressing features a larger disk allowing more surface area coverage and a unique oneway, 3-valve dome allowing air to escape and not re-enter the chest. This patented rigid dome promotes the escape of air from the chest even if the Chest Seal is covered by gear or rests against a hard surface.
